I turned 29 last week, so my grandmother, three aunts, and a cousin came to visit us for the weekend. We stayed downtown pretty much the entire time, but on Sunday afternoon Cory and I took a little drive on over to the Angel Oak tree on Johns Island. I would’ve made more pictures here, but there were so many people also making pictures and there are no less than ten signs posted around the tree.
I think the copious amounts of signage is just a clever way to encourage tourists to buy postcards from the gift shop, but I really can’t complain too long as admission into the park is free. Charleston has been really good to us so far. I can’t wait to share some of the wedding photography I’m making down here.
